The Flower that Blooms...

Bursting with the will to ignite,
Spread my wings and take flight.
I long for something I know not quite,
I belong somewhere, up high, out of sight.


I am joyous, I am free,
Alive, peaceful as can be,
Tranquil, like Water.
A drop in the ocean,
There lies an ocean inside of me.



These hands of mine, they tremble,
sweat profusely,
they're over heated, patients untreated.
Machines that were never taught to stop,
Roller coasters; once they start,
Never am I to depart.




This heart of mine, is untamed,
oblivious to the race against time.
It relishes forever, lives on endeavors,
nags like a child does his mother,
begs for a sweet and then another.




This mind of mine, is an entity of its own,
at times a slave to the heart,
more often a conspirator,
plotting a great onslaught.




These feet of mine, they dance,
twirl and run and fly all too much.
Perhaps they were never taught,
I am human, not the Lancelot*
